Our Vision
We are a volunteer organization whose primary goal is: "To promote the enjoyment of, and participation in, the sport of soccer."
Comox Valley United Soccer Club has over 1800 members ranging in age from 5 years to 75 years old. The club is always anxious to bring new people into “the beautiful game’ at any age. The CVUSC oversees our local youth, women, men and masters teams. Each division has it's own VP with the overall organization of the club overseen by the President. Within the Youth Division, we have a recreational league for children aged 5 to 18 years, kindergarten through Grade 12, and a competitive league for children ages 11 to 18.

Player Development - CVUSC is committed to a player development pathway that is in alignment with the LTPD Model supported by the CSA.
Coaching Development - Raising the level of training of coaches throughout our programs is a priority for the CVUSC.
Referee Development - CVUSC offers annual courses for new referees, both for small sided games and as entry level BCSA soccer officials.
CVUSC is a volunteer driven organization that is always in need of more hands to help out.
The club is proud of the soccer-specific facilities that have been built and developed in the Comox Valley. Projects such as the Valley View clubhouse and the Vanier Turf field are examples of what has been accomplished by our club. We continue to work toward additional facilities, which include a field house at Vanier, on-site storage at Valley View and eventually a second synthetic soccer pitch.
Our History
Comox Valley United Soccer Club came into existence in 1999
Through the hard work of its founding members led by our first club president, Rob Moore. The creation of Comox Valley United Soccer brought together several youth and adult soccer organizations within the Comox Valley and ‘united’ them under one umbrella. The success of that merger is evident throughout the soccer community as Rob led the club on exciting projects that included the construction of the Valley View clubhouse, the club presence on the regional playing field initiative that brought new fields and training facilities on line for the benefit of our club members.
The leadership and vision for soccer in the valley promoted by Rob Moore has carried on with the many people that have taken on leadership roles within our club and community. That collective effort is best demonstrated by the extensive and endearing efforts made by club members to bring the Vanier Turf project to fruition. Moving forward the club has many other goals and objectives associated to our playing fields and facilities.
Along with the work on fields and facilities, our club has produced quality soccer teams and programs and soccer development continues to be a priority for our club. Seeing our youth players move on to regional, provincial and national programs is a proud accomplishment for our club. Also important for our programming is the focus on giving our membership options for transitioning from youth programs locally and into both recreational and competitive programs as an adult. CVUSC wants to continue to make soccer a life long passion!

Our Policy
We are a volunteer organization whose primary goal is "To promote the enjoyment of, and participation in, the sport of soccer."
The CVUSC oversees our local Youth, Womens, Mens and Masters teams. Divisions have their own VPs with the overall organization of the club overseen by the President. Within the Youth Division we have a recreational league for children aged 5 to 18 years, Kindergarten thru Grade 12, and a competitive league for children aged 11 to 18.
The objectives of this club shall be: To promote, teach and govern the game of soccer among all club members. To encourage good sportsmanship and fair play. To teach respect for the laws of the game, officials and players.
